offer a rare piece of Circus Sideshow History. It was acquired in
the Tampa Bay area over 32 years ago and came from a
small town about fifteen minutes south of Tampa called Gibsonton, Florida... AKA "Showtown, U.S.A." AKA Gibtown ...
The Circus and Sideshow Capital of the World!!! And located in Gibsonton
Florida resided one of the
largest pickled punk shows in the United States "Ward Hall King Of The Sideshows". Because the display of human remains was
illegal in many states... circus sideshows
were forced to replaced their
punks with rubber replicas or clones called bouncers. The actual fetus was put
into a mold... then reproduced as a gaff... aka bouncer or silicone
baby. Sometimes on rare occasions the sideshow would make a single
headed baby into a 2 headed baby by just casting the same head twice
and manipulating the mold. This was done to sensationalize and to
shock and amaze the audience... and this is what we are offering for
sale here today...
